📘 PTE 90 Scorer Strategy – 4 Key Steps (2025 Update)

💡 Recent update from our former students (15th-time 90 scorer): Follow these 4 steps for maximum results!

1️⃣ Update Templates + Add Real Content

• Don’t rely only on templates anymore — human checking is active now.

• Keep responses 60% content + 40% structure/template.

• Add meaningful ideas in Describe Image, Retell Lecture, Summarize Group Discussion, Respond to a Situation, Essay & SST.

• Templates are helpful, but without real content → low score risk!
  
  

2️⃣ Time Management is Everything
📚 Reading:

• FIB (Dropdown): 2 mins/question

• MCQ (Multiple): 30 secs

• Reorder Paragraphs: 1.5 mins

• FIB (Drag & Drop): 1.5 mins

• MCQ (Single): 30 secs
  👉 Move on if stuck – don’t waste time on one question!
  
  

🎧 Listening:

• SST: 10 mins (use full time)

• MCQs & Select Missing Word: 10–15 secs after audio

• Fill in the Blanks: 50 secs to check spellings

• Highlight Incorrect Words: 5 secs

• WFD: 50–60 secs (focus on accuracy!)

3️⃣ Summarize Spoken Text (SST) – Key for Writing & Listening

• Don’t just add random keywords.

• Write 65 words with at least 40 words of relevant lecture content.

• Use connectors (Firstly, Moreover, To conclude…).

• Focus on meaningful, correct spelling + relevant sentences.
  
  

4️⃣ Summarize Written Text (SWT) – Boost Writing & Reading

• Pick 3–4 key sentences and join them with connectors (, and, furthermore, etc.).

• Change 2–3 words (e.g., “change” → “alter”, “enjoy” → “have fun”).

• Word limit: ≤ 75 words.

• Accurate, logical connection = higher reading & writing marks.
